We pay tribute to the family of our former President Mwai Kibaki.He touched many lives in a special way.Personally,he touched my life when i was in prison from the year 2001-2005.

He was a father figure to our nation

My sincere condolences to the family and the entire nation for the passing of one of the best Presidents that Kenya has ever had. You have left a tremendous legacy Mr. President.

Fare thee well Kibaki. Yours was an economic revolution that uplifted many from the shackles of extreme poverty. Kenyans were able to dream again and embrace a bright future.

The late  Mwai Kibaki is an indelible mark in my life,and that of Kenyans at Large. He proved to us that we can as a Nation. The roads,electricity,education ,loans availability to smes.... Civil service salary reviews, health...cdf, constitutional review....the list is endless. The Nyeri King has fallen, yes am a Nyerian feeling desperate. The King has fallen. I celebrate him posthumously. Like in the movie Lion King ...after mufasa was gone...lion king was back after he was established to know his father lived in him....Jimmy Kibaki....dream.again and know he lives in you.

I remember vividly it was on a chilly Saturday morning at KICC pavilion when i first met and saw Kibaki in a colourful ceremony flagging off KCB rally, my heart chilled down and smiled heavily seeing the man who rose the country fortunes from shakles of proverty and illeteracy. You shall be remembered forever in our hearts Mr. President sleep well mentor Hero and legendary of all times. RIP Kibaki.

You came, Lived, served and conquered the world. You will be dearly missed for your good deeds. Go well My President. 

We appreciate President Kibaki for charting a very different course for Kenya from what we had seen. It is when President Kibaki came to power that our home got connected to  power and he had reduced the cost of connection. For the longest time, we had electricity was in our village but no one could connect, when Presdient KIbaki came into power, the line started moving and everyone now is connected. I am happy he passed over power to a very able President Uhuru Kenyatta. 

Rest well, President Kibaki and may your good deeds continue in our country.

Your focus on the bottom of the pyramid paid off. You demonstrated how an ailing economy can be fixed, without drama. I salute your statesmanship, i salute you Sir for your focus and diligence. Soldiers never die, your spirit will live forever in the hearts of Kenyan's. You were a role model to millions. Go well, Rest Easy.
